Party in NYC

26 Oct

Justine magazine and the Girl Scouts of America collaborated their awesome girl power efforts and came forth with an all out fashion-tastic NYC event.

Girl’s were treated to fabulous goodie bags (including some super cute Celebrity Pink items), a Justine fashion show (also featuring Celebrity Pink’s fall-fashion-favorites), a concert by country artist Katie Armiger, and much more. What a fun day!

And here’s confessing that I too was once a Brownie Girl Scout. And let me tell you the favorite thing in my little girl closet from ages 5 to 6 was that pull on uniform skirt in brownie brown (emphasis on brown). I remember loving that skirt then like I love my black jeggings today, read: I wear (wore) them whenever possible.

Fur Sure

21 Oct

It’s a little known fact that (faux) fur is the go to necessity for staying warm this fall (winter). Whether covering a coat or lining your boots fur is not only comfy cozy but super chic too. I am personally loving pretty much everything from Sam Edelman’s fall collection, specifically his take on the hiking boot. I love the way it laces up the front, while furry goodness practically spills from the inside.

Furry cuffed boots perfectly compliment chunky knit tights or brightly colored leggings and add a touch of class to whatever outfit you may be wearing.

  1. Guess- bountiful ankle boot, $140
  2. ASOS- faux fur lace up boot, $93
  3. Sam Edelman- Mateo boot, $155
  4. Rue21- fur trim boot, $35
  5. ASOS- Dune wedge boot, $152
  6. UGG- Bailey button boot, $150
  7. ASOS- Mango Cleo concealed wedge, $135
  8. Sam Edelman- Orlando boot, $200

What is your favorite way to wear fur?

Curtain Call

14 Oct

Here we have some behind the scene pics from our fabulous campaign shoot. Once again shot using Hipstamatic for iPhone (can you tell, this is becoming an obsession). I love how the grainy feel of the image enhances the very raw, real life look we were shooting for. Pure awesomeness!

I love this picture because it captures the team work and dedicated effort everyone put forth all day. If you can’t tell what’s going on, here we have our model in the middle surrounded by the make-up artist touching up her cheeks, the stylist accessorizing her, and the hair stylist prepping her hair…now that is multi tasking at its greatest.

Take The Picture

13 Oct

I am so excited to announce, and debut to you a very exclusive sneak peek of Celebrity Pink’s Spring Summer 2011 campaign. We were so lucky to have such an awesome photo shoot team including the new face of CP Jeans our model, Miss Sadie May. Straight off the plane from Alabama she was is just about the sweetest thing since peach pie (not to slight the South, I love peach pie).

Here she is in all of her cuteness, with lots more amazing photos to come:

A special thank you to our allstar team: photographer Erich Chen, make-up Andrea Whitten, celeb hair stylist for 90210 Amanda Mofield, set and fashion stylist Lyndi Trang, model Sadie May from Access Model Management, and all of the wonderful assistants and necessary people. Thank you, thank  you, thank you!

Hello Again

11 Oct

Hello again! It has been a while, and I admit…it is entirely my fault. The past month has been a busy one for Celebrity Pink, but in a wonderfully hectic way. We have so many exciting things to share with you, so I won’t waste any time getting started.

First and foremost…Celebritypinkjeans.com now features a New Arrival section which will feature 6 amazing new pieces every Friday. This week we felt ultra flirty in floral, a quick peek at some of CP’s cute rompers and dresses for Spring.

Last week was Los Angeles Majors Market at the California Mart in downtown LA and we had a blast. I will start by saying our Spring/Summer line has somewhat of a vintage vibe. Lots of faded denim and printed florals, high-waisted cuts, banded bottom crops, and some pretty just plain awesome washes. Staying in true vintage form I collected an assortment of unfinished wooden tables, mason jars, paisley bunting, and bunches of wild flowers in pastel notes to accent the showroom.

Glad to be back!
